Located in Capital Health and the IWK Health Centre, the National Research Council Institute for Biodiagnostics (Atlantic), works closely with partners in academia, healthcare, and industry, providing access to the expertise and infrastructure that will assist them in realizing their commercialization goals. Our research focuses on improving diagnosis and treatment of brain illness and advancing the research and development of non-invasive technologies in medicine. This research is undertaken through the use of advanced imaging technologies including a 4T MRI, EEG, and magnetoencephalography.
