The tremoFlo Oscillation Spirometer and filter are the first products developed by the THORASYS team, in collaboration with researchers and engineers at Dalhousie University and at its sister company SCIREQ Inc. of Montreal.
The breakthrough device will aid doctors both in diagnosing respiratory illness and in monitoring how well a patient’s illness is controlled. It will be particularly helpful in diagnosing asthma in children – an important advance because asthma most frequently emerges in childhood.
